GUANAJUATO

Guanajuato, a central Mexican state, celebrates Día de los Muertos with a blend of indigenous Chichimeca customs and Spanish influences, creating a deeply personal and communal tradition of remembrance. For GHY, this celebration was particularly meaningful as he joined his family in honoring his beloved grandmother. Alongside his aunt and grandfather, he carefully decorated her grave with vibrant flowers, a heartfelt tribute to his grandmother’s life.
