KITCHEN

The kitchen has been a central gathering place for the Yepez and Herrera women for generations. It’s where countless meals have been prepared with love, where laughter and conversations have taken place, and where the most cherished recipes have been learned and passed down.

This installation honors these women—from great grandmothers to the newest additions to the family. To the left, are photos of the women born in Mexico, and to the right, the women born in the United States.
